Am I at 250 Words Yet?
Honestly, the most challenging part of these posts have been remembering to do them the day before class rather than the day of class. I have to admit i'm a little bit of a procrastinator. I'm trying to work on that little character flaw though! Another complaint I would add is that i'm a firm believer in quality over quantity. There's only so much I can fluff and BS before I start sounding like the Twilight series (no offense). On the blog posts pertaining to the reading I totally understand and have no problem pushing out a bunch of words whatsoever but these reflection posts leave me a little stumped on words. I honestly really enjoy reading what other people in the class have to say. Sometimes they have a completely different perspective than I did on the text and I think that's sweet. Their input helps me form a better idea of what I have read and allow me to analyze it from multiple perspectives. I love blogging and reading so this is a type of homework that I thoroughly enjoy and look forward to doing in comparison to my online french problems. These blog posts have confirmed my enjoyment of blogging and use of social media as a way to deliver my writing even more. I think it is a perfectly acceptable way to get information out there. The class discussions have made me realize that I need to get in touch with what's going on in the world. I think that's the coolest part of class. I find myself opening a tab to a news website rather than facebook just so i can see if anything is up. Getting into groups and discussing the reading is a fun way to get information about the reading. Some areas aren't as easy to identify as it is to others. All in all I really dig the blog posts and I think they're a great way to get us engaged in the reading.

This is the first that I've seen blogging related to Twilight!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to the news discussion part has you opening news tabs even before facebook. I think you'll like the next unit, too.
